REPORT GIVEN ON APPOINTMENT OF AIMAGS' GOVERNORS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At a meeting of the parliamentary Standing committee on state structure held on Wednesday, the Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag gave a report on appointment of the governors of some aimags. As of today, the governors of 15 aimags have appointed so far after the elections of the Citizens' Representative Khural of aimags and the city's districts. Governors of Khovsgol, Dundgobi, Selenge, Gobi-Altai, Dornod and Gobisumber have not been appointed yet due to disputes at courts. Moreover, the Corruption Combating Agency (CCA) has sent official documents to those who have been recommended by the Citizens' Representative Khural of some aimags. The Premier said that acting governors of Dornod and Khovsgol aimags have been appointed to keep mormal works in localities.
