PROSECUTOR-GENERAL VISITING HONG KONG

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A delegation headed by D.Dorligjav, the Prosecutor-General of Mongolia, started Monday a working visit to Hong Kong, a special administrative region of China. He has been invited by Mr Kevin Zervos, a Director of Hong Kong's Public Prosecutions of the Department of Justice. On the first day of the visit, the delegation and Mr Zervos ran talks on developing a collaboration in legal assistance, on establishing contracts and exchanging experience. Hong Kong has plentiful experience of combating trans-boundary financial crimes, drud trafficking and corruption crimes at state and private sectors. The sides underlined an importance of developing the cooperation between the prosecutorial bodies of Mongolia and Hong Kong. This visit is considered important for our prosecutors in terms of training, information sharing and creating proper conditions for running investigations. B.Khuder
