President Ts.Elbegdorj welcomes German counterpart Joachim Gauk

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ H.E Joachim Gauk, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, arrived with his wife Daniela Schadt in Ulaanbaatar on Wednesday, to pay a state visit here. This morning, President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj and the first lady Kh.Bolormaa welcomed the two in the Chinggis Square. After sounding the anthems of Mongolia and Germany, the dignitaries greeted with the honor guards and other officials. Children in national costumes handed bouquets of flowers to the high guests. The first families of Mongolia Germany paid tribute to the Statue of Chinggis Khaan. President of Germany Joachim Gauk signed the book of honored guests at the Pillared Chamber of the State House. Then, the heads of states along with their spouses posed for photos. President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj and the President of Germany Joachim Gauk are having a tete-a-tete meeting in the Ceremonial Ger. The dignitaries will hold official talks after the meeting.
