PRESIDENT LEAVES FOR SOUTH SUDAN

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President and the Commander-in-Chief of Mongolia's Armed Forces Ts.Elbegdorj left Thursday for the South Sudan. He intends to visit the Mongolian troops who are serving in UN peacekeeping operations in this country. The State Head will visit a 850 troops' battalion and officers and will expand a cooperation with the South Sudan that recently became an independent country. The leader of Mongolia is accompanied by D.Bat-Erdene, the Minister of Defense; D.Gankhuyag, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Lieutenant-General Ts.Byambajav, the head of the General Headquarters of Mongolia's Armed Forces.
