PREMIER RECEIVES CHAIRMAN OF RUSSIAN TUVA'S GOVERNMENT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia always pays attention to an intensification of its ties with Russian Tuva Republic, moreover, this cooperation can be developed in education, agriculture, culture, art and sports spheres.
The Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag said it during a meeting last Friday with Mr Sholban Valeryevich Kara-ool, the Chairman of the Government of Russian Tuva. The Premier added that Mongolia is ready to invite Tuva to various cultural and sport events and to have Tuva students study in Mongolian universities and institutes.
The border trade may be expanded and the Mongolian livestock may be supplied to Tuva "in case a permission is available from related body," the Premier said.
He said his government wants to help in involving living near the border people in the economic relations and to tackle other matters. He noted that a work has been reflected in the 2012-2016 action programme of Mongolia's government to grant an international status to the "Khandgait-Borshoo" border checkpoint.
The Minister of Road and Transportation A.Gansukh said Mongolia is ready to open an Ulan-Ude--Kyzyl direction if the Russian side makes a positive decision.
