PREMIER MEETS WIM KOK

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The PM N.Altankhuyag met Tuesday Mr Wim Kok, a former Prime Minister of the Netherlands who is participating in the Mongolian Economic Forum (MEF). Mr Kok talked about his country's experience in overcoming the Dutch Disease, which is considered throughout the world as the apparent relationship between the increase in exploitation of natural resources and a decline in the manufacturing sector, and shared views on prevention of this crisis in Mongolia. Mr Kok noted that pay rise along with boosting mining sector is the main factor of a crisis. In turn, the Premier expressed a satisfaction with meeting with Mr Kok who was elected twice as PM and who managed to successfully overcome the economic difficulties. He said Mongolia wants to learn experience of the Netherland in a developmental policy and tackling urgent problems. B.Khuder
