PM addresses honorary meeting of WED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag delivered a speech at a honorary meeting for the World Environment Day (WED) marked on Wednesday with a participation of guests and delegates from several countries. This year, Mongolia is hosting the WED which is marked June 5. The PM expressed thanks to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for choosing our country to organize the WED 2013. "Since Mongolia's strategy development is to be based on the principle of green development, the cabinet for reforms set up the Ministry of Green Development and made it a general orientation ministry, promoting its status," the Premier underlined. Taking the Mongolian ger (national dwelling) as the example, Mr Altankhuyag said "we have custom and culture of saving the nature".
