Parliament Speaker Receives French Foreign Minister

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) - Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri affirmed that Iraq is open to regional and international levels according to a new vision to prepare for the stage of construction and reconstruction in order to inaugurate the stage of stability that calls for His return as an active and influential party in international politics. "We are looking forward to the international community's help in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the liberated areas by participating in the donors' conference in Kuwait which will be the beginning of a secure and stable Iraq," Jubouri said during a meeting with French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian. The Speaker of the House of Representatives also called to give the file of the return of the displaced to their liberated areas the greatest attention through the reconstruction of their destroyed cities, pointing out that Daesh criminal attacks have led to economic, social and environmental impact that threatened social stability in the areas under his control. "The two sides discussed the bilateral relations between Iraq and France and means of strengthening them to ensure the interests of the two friendly peoples."
