Over 300 PKK militants killed in Turkey for month

Azerbaijan, Baku, Aug. 28 /Trend A.Taghiyeva/ Turkey's security forces killed 318 militants of terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the area of Shemdilli the Turkish province of Hakkari for month, Vatan newspaper reported. Two soldiers of the Turkish army are also died in the clashes. The conflict between Turkey and the PKK which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state has been on-going for more than 25 years.
