OLYMPIC MEDALISTS RECEIVE INCENTIVES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A ceremony took place Thursday in the State House to grant the President's Certificates for of life-time incentive and “golden” credit card to the Olympic and World championships medalists. Last year, the President of Mongolia issued a decree on giving incentives to the Olympic and World championships (Paralympic Games and para World championships are included) medalists. Accordingly, an Olympic gold medalist will receive MNT 4 million every month, a silver medalist--MNT 3 million, a bronze medalist--MNT 2 million. The World champion for a sport which is included in the Olympic events--MNT 2 million, a silver medalist--MNT one million, and a bronze medalist--MNT 500 thousand. The single-benefit incentive will be given to families of late athletes who won Olympic or World championship medals. Present at the ceremony were P.Tsagaan, a head of the Presidential Office; Ts.Oyungerel, the Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism; and authorities of the Ministry. B.Khuder
