Azerbaijan, Baku, Aug. 29 / Trend A.Taghiyeva / A female terrorist who blew up the Kirkuk-Yumurtalik pipeline transporting Iraqi oil to Turkey a few days ago died from the blast. She was a Syrian citizen, Hurriyet said today. The explosion took place on August 26 and resulted in suspending oil transportation from Iraq for two days. Previously, PKK militants repeatedly created a diversion at this pipeline. Last time it was blown up in early August when oil pumping to Turkey was halted for a week. The conflict between Turkey and the PKK which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state has been on-going for more than 25 years.
