NAT'L CONSULTATION ON ACCELERATING MDGS REALIZATION TO RUN

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A national consultation about accelerating progress on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2015 will be held Thursday in the Chingis Khaan hotel, Ulaanbaatar. This consultation is co-organized by the Ministry of Economic Development, the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Mongolia and the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Mongolia. The opening remarks will be made by O.Chuluunbat, the Vice Minister of Economic Development, and by Ms Sezin Sinanoglu, UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Mongolia. Led by B.Shinebaatar, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development, the first part of the consultation will hear a report on the MDGs implementation course and means of data; the second part will discuss some measures to be taken to accelerate the MDGs. Matters will be also considered on conclusion of the open consultation and further proposals for the MDGs. B.Khuder
