MP in IS: the IS meet this afternoon in the presence of all its leaders, including Hashimi, Mutlag

Baghdad (NINA) - MP from the Iraqiya Slate, Faeza Al Obeidi, confirmed that the slate will hold this afternoon in Baghdad, a meeting that she described as significant, in the presence of all its leaders, including Vice President, Tariq Al Hashimi, and Deputy Prime Minister, Salih Al Mutlag. She said, in a statement to NINA that the meeting will discuss the latest developments in the political arena and the IS stance to these developments. The IS, decided at the conclusion of a meeting held at the house Tariq Al Hashimi , last Friday, to suspend its MPs attendance to Parliament sessions in a protest against what it called a policy of exclusion and autocracy followed by the government. On the other hand, Prime Minister, Nouri Al Maliki, sent a request to the Parliament to withdraw confidence from his Deputy, Salih Al Mutlag. Media outlets reported the issuance of an arrest warrant against Vice President Tariq Al Hashimi on charges of supporting terrorism. Lawmakers from the IS and State of Law Coalition said that there is nothing official in this regard, but, MP from the SLC, Abdul Salam Al Maliki, confirmed the issuance of arrest warrants against employees in Hashimi’s office. /End/
