MONGOLIA-UKRAINE JOINT STATEMENT RELEASED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts. Elbegdorj and the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych signed Wednesday a joint statement of Ukraine and Mongolia on Development of Partnership in Kiev.
The State Heads have highly spoken the long-year friendly relations, and affirmed their willingness to strengthen the bilateral ties between the nations' leaders and people.
The State Heads have confirmed their readiness to develop a partnership with the multi-lateral collaboration exploiting all possibilities, and expressed a willingness to unite their endeavors for overcoming challenges covering the world. The dignitaries have reached a united position in many issues of international relations.
The sides have been satisfied with refreshing of the bilateral ties, and agreed that regularizing of high-level meetings and visits would stimulate the win-win cooperation in the fields of politics, trade, economics, sciences, techniques, technologies, culture and other spheres.
The Presidents have affirmed that their countries respect each other's way of development, a sovereignty and an independence, and confirmed their willingness to boost effectiveness of the intergovernmental commission on cooperation in trade, economics, science and technology.
The sides have highly spoken a start of bilateral talks aimed to expand the cooperation in several sectors such as sciences, progressive technologies including aircraft and ship industries and mining extraction, and other spheres of mutual interest.
The sides have underlined a requirement to widen direct talks between businessmen, and expressed a willingness to hold a business consultation between the national chambers of commerce and industry. They have emphasized an importance to regularly organize business meetings during high-level meetings and measures.
The two countries' Presidents have backed a development of the collaboration in the defense and security spheres, and then considered as necessity to create a specialized mechanism--at the inter-governmental commission level--in charge of military and technical cooperation.
The sides have been satisfied with training Mongolians in Ukrainian universities and institutes in frames of the educational cooperation. They have decided to continue the cooperation in the educational sector. In addition to it, the sides have emphasized an importance of widening the legal basis for the relations, and then signed several documents.
The sides have disapproved all kinds of terrorism and separatism, and jighlighted an importance of carrying out multi-lateral activities to combat money laundering, terrorism and financing of extremism. They also have affirmed a requirement to reduce nuclear threats over the world.
The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj has expressed thanks to his counterpart of Ukraine, and invited him to visit Mongolia. Mr. Yanukovich has thankfully received the invitation.
