MONGOLIA-INDIA INTERGOV'TAL JOINT COMMITEE MEETING HELD

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 4th meeting of the Mongolia-India intergovernmental joint committee for the trade, economics, science and technical cooperation ran March 21-22 in New Delhi, India.
Negotiations were held between L.Gantomor, the Minister of Education and Science and head of Mongolia's part of the Committee, and E.Ahamed, the Minister of State for External Affairs and head of the Indian side. They shared views on the bilateral relations and cooperation such as launching a project on establishing an IT and outsourcing center, expanding the UB-based School of Craftsmanship and Production named after Rajiv Gandhi, opening direct flight between the countries, and preparing teachers and experts in order to deepen the studies of Buddhism and Sanskrit.
During the negotiations, the sides agreed to enrich their ties with economic and commercial contents and to activate the cooperation in mining, agriculture, health, culture and art. In addition, the countries agreed to annually hold the consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, to organize mid-career training for Mongolian teachers, and to develop small-sized dairy productions and co-operative.
The parties signed a joint protocol.
It is considered that this year's meeting significantly has contributed to widening of the trade, economics, agriculture, culture, education, science and technical cooperation.
In a scope of the meeting, Mr Gantomor got au fait with the "NIIT" company's outsourcing center.
