Minju Joson Urges U.S. to Make Policy Switchover

Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- U.S. political camp is locked in a fierce bickering over the issue of future orientation of its foreign policy as the tenure of Obama's office is to expire before long. Commenting on this Minju Joson Sunday says this is mainly attributable to the total bankruptcy the U.S. faces in its policy of confrontation by force, policy of domination. The commentary goes on: As soon as the Obama administration emerged, it adopted the policy of confrontation by force as its new foreign policy line while asserting "the demonstration of its leadership based on strength." Setting it as a main politico-military task to establish domination over the whole Korean peninsula in executing the above-said strategy, the U.S. focused its efforts on implementing its hostile policy for stifling the DPRK. As a result, the DPRK had access even to H-bomb, ranking itself among nuclear powers. It has military muscle strong enough to mount merciless attacks on the enemies wherever they are if it is determined to do so. The U.S. has repeated setbacks in the issue of relations with the DPRK. In a word, the Obama administration's foreign policy proved totally futile. The U.S. had better opt for making a policy switchover, though belatedly, drawing a serious lesson from the policy errors made by the Obama administration, leaving an indelible blot on its history, warns the commentary. -0-
