Meeting of heads of SCO audit bodies is indicator of profile cooperation within organization – Kyrgyz FM

The meeting of the heads of the audit bodies of the SCO member states is an indicator of the establishment of specialized cooperation within the framework of the organization, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev told at the 4th meeting of heads of SCO audit bodies in Bishkek. He said that, Kyrgyzstan is actively building its foreign policy priorities, which are determined at the highest political level of the country, both in a unilateral and in a multilateral format. "We cooperate with you in the spirit of an equilateral partnership. It is gratifying to note that interstate relations have developed between our countries, characterized by mutual high confidence, respect and consideration of mutual interests. This is what we call the Shanghai spirit. In the SCO format, Kyrgyzstan implements initiatives on the national economy. Participates in joint mutually beneficial projects and strengthens cooperation," he said. The Kyrgyz Foreign Minister noted that the republic made and will make a feasible contribution to the common cause, including within the framework of the SCO. "During its 17 existence, the SCO has passed a glorious path and today has become a regional organization that unites almost half of the globe. It is gratifying to note that the members of the SCO create favorable conditions for economic growth. Large-scale economic initiatives are being implemented. They are different in form, but they are aimed at a single result," he added. Abdyldaev noted that today's meeting is the first international event, after Kyrgyzstan assumed the chairmanship in the SCO. "It is a special pleasure that the meeting is held in an expanded format. I wanted to welcome the representatives of India and in absentia Pakistan. The issues on the agenda are important and crucial for the development and functioning of all levels of the SCO members. The volume of experience will allow you to find answers in a professional way, especially concerning such direction as spending of budgetary funds as an important tool of state administration, ensuring transparency of state bodies," he said.
