Kyrgyzstan to receive S-300 complexes and attack drones from Russia

Bishkek, Feb. 26, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan will receive from Russia S-300 complexes and attack drones, press secretary of the President of Kyrgyzstan Galina Baiterek told commenting on the results of the first foreign visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov to the Russian Federation. “The agreements on the continuation of military-defense cooperation became important. In particular, on the supply in the near future of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems and attack drones, which will become an important contribution of Russia in ensuring the security of both the Kyrgyz Republic and the external borders of the EAEU and the CSTO,” she said. President Sadyr Zhaparov paid his first foreign visit as a head of state to Russia on Feb. 24-25. In Moscow the Kyrgyz president met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Federation Council Chairman Valentina Matvienko and State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin.
