Kyrgyzstan plans to create government accelerator

Bishkek, Sept. 6, 2021. / Kabar /. First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of Kyrgyzstan Daniar Imanaliev held a meeting with Assistant Director General for Leadership and Government Capabilities in the Prime Minister’s Office within the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Yasir Al-Naqbi. According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the meeting was held in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul. "During the meeting, Imanaliev and Al-Naqbi exchanged views on specific areas of cooperation and expansion of partnership between the two countries," the report said. Also, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Affairs of the UAE Government agreed to establish close ties between the ministries to work together to build up bilateral cooperation in order to modernize the government. The Kyrgyz official and director general from UAE discussed the creation of a government accelerator in Kyrgyzstan. Within the framework of this initiative, it is planned to increase public administration, develop long-term development strategies and introduce innovations into the activities of government bodies. The UAE already has a similar mechanism of the government accelerator, which contributes to the implementation of the country's strategy, the ultimate goal of which is to radically change the decision-making process in public administration. In addition, the sides plan to hold a number of training webinars to exchange experience of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the UAE, which will be aimed at preparing for solving potential problems by developing innovative solutions, identifying new opportunities for promoting work, expanding economic spheres and increasing the potential of state frames. At the moment, the sides have prepared for signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the UAE in the field of institutional development and capacity building, which will be signed in the near future during an official visit at a high level. It is noted that both representatives are coordinators of the working group on the development of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the UAE, the first negotiations of which took place online on July 7, 2021.
