Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan discuss opening of direct regular air communication

Bishkek, May 20, 2021. / Kabar / . Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan Erik Beishembiyev discussed issues of development of inter-parliamentary cooperation with Deputy Foreign Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Aamar Aftab Qureshi. According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, in the course of the meeting, the sides also considered holding of the regular meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental commission and the opening of direct regular air communication between the two countries. The ambassador also thanked the Government of Pakistan for the humanitarian assistance to Kyrgyzstan, and informed about the results of the constitutional referendum and the entry into force of the new edition of the basic law. The Pakistani Government provided humanitarian assistance to Kyrgyzstan to combat COVID-19 in the form of 5 thousand medical masks, protective suits and protective shields with a total weight of 1,400 kg.
