Kyrgyzstan hopes Turkey will take part in implementation of Taza Suu project

Bishkek, July 5, 2018 / Kabar /. We express hope that the Turkish side will take an active part in the implementation of national programs in Kyrgyzstan, Minister of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev told during a meeting with Turkish Ambassador Cengiz Kamil Firat. Kasymaliev in particular expects that Turkey will take part in clean water supply programs in the framework of the Taza Suu project, in improvement of irrigation and public infrastructure, as well as in digital technologies projects. The Minister also touched upon the issue of restoring and continuing the work on automation of the Public Financial Management Information System in the framework of TIKA’s (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency) assistance. "This issue is relevant not only for the Ministry of Finance, but for the government as a whole within the framework of the implementation of the state programs of digital transformation Taza Koom”, the minister said. Kasymaliev thanked the government of the Republic of Turkey for the assistance provided and support for ongoing social and economic reforms. Also during the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the topical issues of Kyrgyz-Turkish relations, the schedule of the nearest contacts at the highest was considered. "Turkey is one of the major donors in the Kyrgyz Republic, providing bilateral support. For almost 25 years the Kyrgyz-Turkish cooperation has been fruitfully developing and making a significant contribution to the country's development," the Minister of Finance said. In turn, Turkish ambassador Cengis Kamil Firat said that all issues raised at the meeting are being considered by the Turkish government and will soon be discussed at top level meetings.
