Kyrgyz, Russian FMs talk over phone

Bishkek, Oct. 16, 2020. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbayev held on Thursday a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, Russian top diplomat Lavrov congratulated Ruslan Kazakbayev on the occasion of his appointment as Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic. In the course of the talk, the sides expressed mutual interest in continuing the political dialogue and organizing the planned events through the Foreign Ministries of the two countries. Minister Kazakbayev emphasized the Kyrgyz Republic attaches importance to further strengthening and building strategic partnership and allied relations with the Russian Federation. He also adding that the situation in the republic is being improved by returning political processes to the legal field in order to preserve peace and stability.
