Kyrgyz MPs cancel decision on introduction of state of emergency in Bishkek

Bishkek, Oct. 16, 2020. /Kabar/. Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh cancelled the decision to introduce a state of emergency in Bishkek. On Oct. 12, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov introduced a state of emergency in Bishkek due to riots and rallies that took place after parliament elections on Oct. 4. Parliament Speaker Kanat Isayev announced that a quorum is reached as 76 deputies are attending a meeting.
