Kyrgyz leader meets with Uzbekistan Prime Minister

shkek, Aug. 16, 2017. /Kabar/. President Atambayev met with Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov who arrived in Kyrgyzstan for working visit. During the meeting, where Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Zheenbekov also took part, the actual issues of cooperation between the two countries in different spheres were discussed, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported. Atambayev noted a great contribution of Uzbekistan’s President Shavhad Mirziyoyev to the Kyrgyz-Uzbek cooperation and expressed confidence that the Uzbek Prime Minister’s visit will give a new impulse to the development of bilateral cooperation based on the traditions of friendship and good neighborliness, the principles of mutually beneficial partnership. Aripov conveyed Atambayev the greetings of the President of Uzbekistan and told about the readiness of the country's leadership to continue to pursue a course aimed at strengthening the relations of friendship and good-neighborliness between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The Kyrgyz President wished the prime minister of the two countries successful and fruitful negotiations within the framework of the meetings of the intergovernmental commissions on bilateral cooperation and on the delimitation and demarcation of the state border between countries, taking into account the political will to resolve existing issues by continuing constructive dialogue.
