Kyrgyz foreign minister holds meeting with Croatian counterpart

Bishkek, Sept. 22, 2021 . / Kabar / . Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlic Radman. The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that the meeting took place on Tuesday on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly. The sides discussed the implementation of agreements reached during the first meeting. Minister Kazakbaev expressed gratitude to the Croatian side for the decision to provide 20 thousand vaccines against COVID-19 to Kyrgyzstan on a bilateral basis. For his part, Radman noted that the draft agreements on cooperation in various spheres previously submitted by the Kyrgyz side are currently being considered by Croatian state bodies. Kazakbaev also invited a high-level Croatian delegation to participate in the First EU-CA Economic Forum. His interlocutor, noting the upcoming 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries in December 2021,stressed the possibility of combining the participation of the Croatian delegation in the forum with a bilateral visit to Kyrgyzstan. The sides separately discussed regional security issues.
