Kyrgyz FM to attend high-level General Debate of UNGA76 in New York

Bishkek, Sept. 21, 2021 . / Kabar / . The High-Level Week of the General Debate of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly opened on Tuesday in New York, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov will address the world community in a video message on the first half of the opening day as part of the General Debate of the UNGA 76th session. On the instructions of the Kyrgyz leader, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Ruslan Kazakbaev will attend on Thursday a meeting of foreign ministers of the Group of landlocked countries and in a conference to facilitate the entry into force of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty. In addition, the foreign minister of Kyrgyzstan will participate in the High-Level Dialogue on Energy on Friday and in a high-level meeting on the occasion of the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons on Sept. 28. Ruslan Kazakbaev will also reportedly hold bilateral meetings with UN leaders and his foreign counterparts to promote bilateral and multilateral dialogue and cooperation.
