Kyrgyz defense minister and Turkish ambassador discuss military cooperation

Bishkek, May 20, 2021. / Kabar /. Minister of Defense of Kyrgyzstan Taalaibek Omuraliev met today with newly appointed Ambassador of Turkey to the Kyrgyz Republic, Ahmet Sadik Dogan. The minister greeted the ambassador and congratulated him on his appointment to a high and responsible position, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. In turn, Ahmet Dogan thanked the minister for the invitation and organization of the meeting. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and further prospects of bilateral cooperation in the military sphere. The sides also noted the need to build up the existing potential in the field of military and military-technical cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
