Kyrgyz and Kazakh FMs discuss topical issues of cooperation

Bishkek, July 23, 2018. / Kabar /. Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev and Kazakhstan Kairat Abdrakhmanov discussed topical issues of cooperation, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported. The bilateral meeting of Abdyldaev and Abdrakhmanov took place within the framework of participation in the meeting of the foreign ministers of Central Asia, which took place in Issyk-Kul from July 20 to 22, 2018. During the meeting, the foreign ministers of the two countries discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation, including transport and communication, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian areas, a schedule of forthcoming meetings and visits at the high and highest levels. Particular attention was paid to the work of checkpoints at the border between the Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, the protection of the rights and interests of Kyrgyz citizens in Kazakhstan.
