Kyrgyz Ambassador to Belarus discusses situation in Kyrgyzstan with First Deputy Chairman of CIS Executive Committee

Bishkek, Oct. 22, 2020 / Kabar /. Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Belarus Ermek Ibraimov met on Oct. 19 with First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee - Executive Secretary of the CIS Viktor Guminsky in order to carry out explanatory work on the internal political and economic situation in Kyrgyzstan. During the meeting, Ambassador Ibraimov said that at present the situation in Kyrgyzstan is stable, the ongoing political processes have returned to the legal field, all branches of government are legitimate, and the executive authorities continue to carry out their functions as usual, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He noted that Kyrgyzstan remains fully committed to all its international obligations and strict implementation of all previously signed bilateral and multilateral treaties and agreements. In turn, Guminsky expressed hope that all political forces will be directed to the earliest possible stabilization of the situation and Kyrgyzstan in the near future will return to the path of stable socio-economic development.
