Kyrgyz, Afghan FMs discuss topical issues of bilateral relations

Bishkek, Oct. 2, 2020. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov held on Thursday video conference with his Afghan counterpart Mohammad Atmar. According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, during the talks, topical issues on the agenda of Kyrgyz-Afghan relations were discussed, including projects to support Afghan Kyrgyz in the Great and Little Pamirs. In addition, the parties exchanged visions on further development of infrastructure projects and regional integration. Minister Aidarbekov expressed support for the intra-Afghan reconciliation process launched in September 2020 in Doha, and expressed hope for its advancement with a view to achieving peace in Afghanistan and strengthening regional security as a whole.
