Korean investors offer to build golf club in Bishkek

Bishkek, Sept. 8, 2021. / Kabar /. Investments Minister Almambet Shykmamatov met with a delegation from Korea Telecom headed by Senior Vice President Sunguk Moon. The company's capitalization is USD 21 billion. The sides discussed the prospects for further cooperation on the implementation of investment projects by Korea Telecom in Kyrgyzstan in the field of telecommunications, tourism and medicine. Shykmamatov proposed to the representatives of the Korean company to implement projects for the construction of an international-class golf club in Bishkek, as well as the construction of an international-class medical clinic. It was noted that these investment projects are in demand in the local market and are capable of providing payback. After the meeting, the Kyrgyz minister and a delegation from Korea Telecom made a joint visit to the land plots where it is proposed to implement investment projects. The company already visited Kyrgyzstan in June 2021, taking part in the Kyrgyz-Korean round table on investments.
