Jeenbekov calls to pay due attention to country's water and energy potential

Bishkek, June 27, 2018. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov called to pay due attention to the water and energy potential. During his address at the session of the Jogorku Kenesh, the head of state noted that currently Kyrgyzstan uses only 10 percent of its capabilities in this sphere. "In the future, the economy will develop, and the need for energy will also grow. There will be a need to generate enough electricity," he said. Therefore, Jeenbekov urged to pay special attention to the following projects: - Modernization of the Toktogul HPP; - Kambar-Ata-1 and Kambar-Ata-2; - Upper Naryn Cascade of HPPs; - Kara-Keche thermal power station
