Japan to Offer 25 M. Yen of Relief Goods to Qauke-Hit Nepal

Tokyo, April 26 (Jiji Press)--The Japanese government said Sunday that it will provide emergency relief supplies worth 25 million yen, including tents and blankets, to Nepal, which was been hit by a giant earthquake on Saturday. The relief goods will be delivered through the Japan International Cooperation Agency, it said. Separately, the Defense Ministry on Sunday sent a mission comprising Self-Defense Forces personnel and others to Nepal to figure out the extent of damage and what kind of support the country needs.
