Iraqiya TV channel: biggest network affiliated from Baath party arrested

Baghdad (NINA) – Semi-official TV channel quoted Interior Ministry’s Undersecretary, Hussein Ali Kamal, as saying that the biggest network affiliated to the banned Baath Party spreading in the Mid-Euphrates and northern Baghdad provinces was arrested. The channel explained that “a dangerous scheme to foil the political process led by the Baath Party was thwarted.” Baghdad and a number of provinces are witnessing for the third day consecutively, unprecedented arrest campaigns against former officers and baathists. /End/
