Iranian MPs Off To Croatia

Tehran, Oct 15, IRNA – Members of Iran-Croatia Parliamentary Friendship Group left here for Zagreb on Wednesday to discuss major bilateral issues with senior Croatian officials. Majlis (Parliament) Advisor for International Affairs Hossein Sheikholeslam told IRNA that head of Iran-Croatia Parliamentary Friendship Group Jabbar Koochekinejad was leading the Iranian delegation. Sheikholeslam added the visit is taking place upon an official invitation of head of the Friendship Group Mladen Novak. During their five-day stay, the Iranian MPs are to hold separate meetings with Croatian President Ivo Josipović, Foreign Minister Vesna Pusić, Parliament Speaker Josip Leko and a number of other senior officials of that country./end
