Georgian Special Forces try to free hostages detained by saboteurs

Georgia, Tbilisi, Aug. 29 / Trend N. Kirtzkhalia / Georgian Special Forces are trying to free hostages detained by saboteurs who penetrated into Georgia. Special Forces are carrying out the operation to free the hostages within the perimeter of the Lopota gorge, Dagestan, at the Georgian-Russian border, the Georgian Interior Ministry said today. According to the information, a group of saboteurs who captured three hostages from a group of civilians came through the border from Russia to Georgia. The group of hostages includes two or possibly three people. According to the Interior Ministry, the Georgian side managed to release two groups of hostages, by killing one saboteur during night clashes. There are also some wounded who were taken to hospital.
