George Deek: Israel-Azerbaijan relations are of strategic nature

Baku, December 3, AZERTAC “Israel is one of the first countries to recognize Azerbaijan`s independence. The history of the diplomatic relations between our countries dates back to 30 years ago. Israel-Azerbaijan relations are of the strategic nature,” Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan George Deek said during the press conference. The ambassador noted that the two peoples have a historical past. “Jews have lived in Azerbaijan for many years. The historical ties between our peoples are very deep,” George Deek added.
