Gabon urges Islamic states to support Palestinian nation

Tehran, Dec 1, IRNA - Ambassador of Gabon Republic in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain on Monday urged Islamic states to support Palestinian nation. Speaking at the 10th Islamic Conference of Information Ministers (ICIM) experts meeting, Ismael Gnamalengoungou oligut said that Islamic countries need to have convergence in support for Palestinian nation. The Islamic states including Gabon should do their best to help establish an independent palestinian state, he added. ICIM experts meeting kicked off here on Monday morning. The two-day meeting seeks to help consolidate unity and present a proper image of Islam and Muslim states. The ministerial session will be held on December 3-4 following the experts meeting. The motto of the event is 'Media Convergence for Establishment of Peace and Calm in Islamic World'./end
