French President Visits Museum of Islamic Arts

Doha, June 23 (QNA) - French President Francois Hollande, France's First Lady Valerie Trierweiler and the accompanying delegation paid Sunday a visit to the Museum of Islamic Arts. The French President toured the museum and viewed its contents which included jewelry and other artifacts. After the tour, Hollande signed the museum's visitor's book expressing admiration for its content that displayed the Islamic culture and civilization, expressing his admiration of the museum, saying it was a wealth to Islamic heritage. The management of the museum then presented the President with a book that provides an overview of the contents of the museum. HE theh Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada, Ambassador of Qatar in Paris Mohammad Jaham Abdul Aziz Al Kuwari and French Ambassador in Doha Jean-Christophe Possel accompanied the French President on his visit.
