Former Lithuanian president invited to Baku

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 28 / Trend / Azerbaijani Ambassador to Lithuania Hasan Mammadzade met with former Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus, the Azerbaijani Embassy to Lithuania told Trend on Thursday. At the meeting, Adamkus was handed over the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the Baku international forum to be held in October. Adamkus asked to convey his best wishes to the head of Azerbaijan. At the meeting the sides exchanged views on the socio-political situation in Lithuania, as well as developments in the region and the world. Adamkus presented his new book, "The Last Cadence," to Mammadzade. The ambassador, in turn, presented to Adamkus the book, "Ilham: Portrait of a President." Do you have any feedback?
