The Foreign Minister And His Qatari Counterpart Stress The Importance Of Reducing Tension In The Region And Avoiding The Dangers Of Wars

Baghdad / NINA/- Foreign Minister Muhammad Ali al-Hakim discussed with the Deputy Prime Minister and Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani strengthening bilateral relations and the most important regional and international issues of common concern, especially the situations in Syria, Libya and Yemen. The two sides stressed, according to a ministry statement, the importance of respecting the sovereignty of Iraq, and the absolute refusal to turn it into an arena for conflict, and the need to keep it away from regional conflicts and axes policy, stressing the need to reconstruct liberated areas in order to complete the victory against terrorism. Al-Hakim expressed his rejection and condemnation of the attacks that targeted targets inside the Iraqi territories because they represent blatant violation of sovereignty, a threat to the safety of citizens, and a violation of the provisions of international law.
