FM RECEIVES SENIOR DIPLOMATS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the Lunar New Year, the Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold received Wednesday senior diplomats. In addressing the reception, Mr Bold said Mongolia has been making great efforts in the last years to fulfil goals of the foreign policy, to strengthen its position at international and regional arenas, and to develop the cooperation with countries. He also emphasized that Mongolia has become the 57th Participating state of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). The Minister underlined an importance of knowledge and experience of the retired diplomats, for example in a preparation for the 7th Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies (CoD) which will run this April, and in establishing the Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the reception, the Medal of Honored Diplomat was awarded to seniors A.Tsolmon, G.Luuzan and Ch.Agvaandamdin for their significant contribution to implementation of the foreign policy goals and for endeavour at the foreign relations.
