FM Kazakbaev to attend regular meeting of CIS Council of Foreign Ministers

Bishkek, April 1, 2021. / Kabar /. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev will take part in a regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to be held in Moscow on April 2, 2021. The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that foreign ministers plan to discuss topical issues of the international agenda and cooperation within the Commonwealth, interaction between the foreign ministries of the CIS member states, and consider a number of documents, including those submitted to the meetings of the CIS Council of Heads of State and Council of Heads of Government. In addition, foreign ministers will approve action plans to implement the Strategy for Cooperation of CIS member states in physical culture and sports for 2021-2030, the Strategy of International Youth Cooperation of CIS member states for 2021-2030 and the Strategy for Cooperation of CIS member states in tourism for 2021-2030. Minister Kazakbaev is also expected to meet with colleagues from a number of CIS countries to discuss bilateral cooperation issues of mutual interest.
