First Vice Speaker: Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with NATO

Baku, September 27, AZERTAC “Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with NATO. The country and the organization presently enjoy high-level cooperation,” said first Vice Speaker of Azerbaijan`s parliament, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to NATO PA Ziyafat Asgarov as he met with NATO Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai. Asgarov emphasized that if Armenia continues to ignore international law with respect to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijan will need to use military force to liberate its own territories. Appathurai hailed Azerbaijan`s development. He expressed his commitment to a peaceful resolution of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
