First Kyrgyz-Belarus political consultations take place in Bishkek

Bishkek, June 27, 2018. / Kabar/. The first Kyrgyz-Belarus political consultations took place in Bishkek at the level of deputy foreign ministers, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported. The Kyrgyz delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlan Abdrakhmanov, Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Evdachenko. During the consultations, a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda was discussed, in particular, the development of a political dialogue and the strengthening of trade and economic cooperation. As a result of consultations, the Consultative Plan between the MFAs of the two countries for the period 2018-2019 was adopted. An exchange of views took place in an open and constructive atmosphere on the international and regional agenda, including cooperation within the framework of the EEU, CIS and CSTO, as well as issues of interaction at the UN site. As a result of the consultations, the sides confirmed their mutual desire to continue the course on developing partnerships and diversifying bilateral ties.
