First Deputy FM of Kyrgyzstan receives copies of credentials from Italian ambassador

Bishkek, Nov. 29, 2021. / Kabar /. First Deputy Foreign Minister Nuran Niyazaliev received new Italian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan with his residence in Nur-Sultan, Mr. Marco Alberti, on the occasion of the presentation of copies of his credentials. The press service of the Foreign Ministry said that, Niyazaliev congratulated Alberti on his appointment to the post and expressed hope for the active work, aimed at further strengthening the multifaceted cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Italy. In order to strengthen cooperation in specific areas, the sides noted the importance of expanding the legal framework, in particular, Nuran Niyazaliev and Marco Alberti outlined the need for the earliest possible coordination of the draft international treaties under consideration by the parties. The sides also confirmed the importance of implementing the agreements reached between the heads of the foreign ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Italy during their meeting on Nov. 9, 2021 in Rome. The Kyrgyz deputy minister expressed interest in attracting Italian investments to the Kyrgyz market, and in this context, the sides noted with satisfaction the Kyrgyz-Italian business forum held on Nov. 21-24, 2021 in Bishkek, which served as a good example for the further development of trade and economic cooperation. During the meeting, the issues of interaction within the framework of international organizations were also discussed. In particular, the initiative of the Kyrgyz side to promote the draft resolution of the UN General Assembly "On the declaration of 2022 - the International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development" was noted. Following the meeting, Niyazaliev noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic will provide constant support in the diplomatic activities of the Italian ambassador.
