EU to continue technical and consultation assistance on social issues in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb.10 / Trend S.Agayeva/ The EU will continue technical and consultation assistance on social issues to Azerbaijan, the head of an EU delegation John Kjaer, who took part at a productive meeting of the Azerbaijan - EU subcommittee on Social Affairs and Education, said at a press conference on the outcome of the meeting. Further cooperative issues were discussed. "The EU intends to pay special attention to human resource development, as no society can develop without it," Mr Kjaer said. A two-day meeting of the subcommittee on Employment and Social Affairs, public health, education and youth, culture, information society and audio-visual policy, science and technology, which was created under the committee focusing on cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan opened in Baku on Thursday.
