Erdogan Arrives In Tehran

Tehran, March 28, IRNA – Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at the head of a high-ranking delegation arrived in Tehran early Wednesday morning. The delegation accompanying Turkish prime minister includes Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz, Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan, Minister of Environment and Urban Development Erdogan Bayraktar, Undersecretary of Turkish Intelligence Organization ( MIT) Hakan Fidan, Deputy Chief of the Turkish General Staff General Hulusi Akar, Head of Atomic Energy Organization Zafer Alper, three Parliament deputies as well as spouse and daughter of the premier. He is scheduled to meet and discuss interested issues with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi and Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani during his 2-day official visit. Considering issues related to bilateral ties, talks about the most important developments in the Middle East, possibly talks about nuclear issues are among the most important issues to be discussed between the Turkish high-ranking delegation and their Iranian counterparts.
