Energy cooperation intended to deepen relations between Turkmenistan and India

Implementation of joint projects in the energy field will enable bilateral cooperation to enter a higher level, Indian President Pratibha Patil's message addressed to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov says, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reported.
The message is timed to the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
It says that Indian-Turkmen cooperation, based on close historical ties, further deepens and develops in various fields.
"Given our obligations and efforts, which take the two countries' interests into account and which are directed at ensuring energy security, I express confidence that the implementation of joint projects in this sphere will enable the bilateral cooperation to enter a higher level," the message says.
Indian President expressed its readiness for further close cooperation to carry out a full-scale cooperation between the two countries.
