Embassy of Kyrgyzstan takes part in Day of Friendship Central Asia - Republic of Korea

Bishkek, Dec. 8, 2020 / Kabar /. The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Korea took part in the annual event "Central Asia - Republic of Korea Friendship Day", organized by the Republic of Korea - Central Asia Friendship Association, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported. The event was held in online and offline formats on the topic "Fight against COVID-19". Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Dinara Kemelova in her speech noted the relevance of the topic, taking into account the current realities, called on all parties to take joint actions, and also expressed hope for an exchange of experience in combating COVID-19. During the second session, specialists from 5 countries of Central Asia, as well as South Korean experts in the field of COVID-19, made presentations on coronavirus infection. On behalf of the Kyrgyz side, the Chief Specialist of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Osmonov made a presentation, who spoke about the current situation with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan and methods of combating it. Kemelova had short talks with a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Korea Kim Du Kwan, representatives of pharmaceutical companies, foundations and scientific circles in the healthcare sector, where they discussed prospects for cooperation in combating the pandemic.
